Question:
You claim to be the only manufacturer of vz. 58 rifles and vz. 61 Pistols in the world, but I see many other dealer selling various non-CSA vz. 58s and vz. 61s in many diffferent countries.
Answer:
Yes, that is true. Czech Small Arms is the only manufacturer that makes both vz. 58 rifles and vz. 61 pistols completely new. All the other vz. 58 and vz.61 models from all the other „manufacturers" are either surplus, original full-auto firearms only converted into semi-auto firing guns or built from the „parts kits" using just few new main components, like barrel or receiver or stock parts.
Question:
Are CSA vz.58 and vz.61 firearms 100% newly manufactured?
Answer:
Yes. 100% of parts in both vz. 58 rifles and vz. 61 Pistols are newly manufactured. Only surplus parts are phenolic stock sets installed on some rifles upon customers request.
Question:
You say that all vz. 58 rifles and vz. 61 pistols are 100% newly manufactured, but I can see minor scratch marks on some moving parts (e.g. vz. 61 Pistol bolt), inside vz. 58 receiver etc.). How come ?
Answer:
All of our vz.58s and vz. 61s are test fired and zeroed before cleaning and packing at the factory. Therefore, on average, approximately 15 - 25 rds are fired through each firearm.
Question:
What does „transfarable warranty“ means ?
Answer:
It means that warranty transfers from one owner to another in the case the firearm is sold, regardless of how many times the firearm is transferred / sold. Warranty is provided not on buyers name, but on the particular firearm.
Question:
How long is the warranty on your products ?
Answer:
All models, except for 22 LR caliber firearms are covered with 5 year warranty. 22 LR models are cover by 2 year warranty.
Question:
Why there are two different red dot mounts for vz. 58 Sporter in your offer – „red dot mount“ and „low red dot mount“ ?
Answer:
Low mount has a low profile over the rifle and makes the whole rifle fitted with the mount and scope more compact. Standard red dot mount (high mount) doesn´t have a sleak, sexy look of a low mount, but allows for cleaning of the rifle, without necessity to remove the mount from the rifle and thus lose your „zero". Low mount on the other hand, has to be removed from the rifle during the cleaning of the rifle and zero has to be set up again after cleaning.
Question:
Is it possible to mount the original vz. 58 bayonet on the your new vz. 58 Sporters ?
Answer:
Yes, it is possible on standard RIFLE models with the barrel lengths of 390 mm or 410 mm, but not on CARBINE and COMPACT models with 299 mm and 190 mm barrels, respectively.
Question:
Can a safety lever on your vz. 58 Sporter be moved from RH side to the LH side ?
Answer:
No, vz. 58 lever is not ambidextrous.
Question:
Can I have CSA to mount and zero my red dot mount on my vz. 58 rifle.
Answer:
No. We do not have a capacity to do individual custom jobs like these. You need to find the nearest gunsmith to do that for you, but it´s fairly easy, so most customers can probably do it themselves.
Question:
Is your side rail compatible with other AK type mounts or is it CSA „specific“ ?
Answer:
Our side rails on vz. 58 Sporter rifles have the same main dimensions as the AK rails, so all AK type mounts can be mounted on our vz. 58 rifle side rails as well.
Question:
I am having a difficulty to mount the muzzle on my vz. 58 tight enough. Why ?
Answer:
Unlike vz. 58 flash hider, vz, 58 muzzle break needs to be attached tightly on the muzzle in one specific position. Each rifles thread on a muzzle starts in slightly different spot and so does the thread on each particular muzzle break. Therefore each vz. 58 rifle bought from CSA together with muzzle break has the muzzle break hand fitted onto particular rifle. If the muzzle break is bought separately, fitting needs to be done by trained machinist or gunsith.
Question:
May I come to the CSA factory and buy directly from you ?
Answer:
No, we do not have a factory shop and you need to use one of our distributors that you can find on our website in Where to Buy section.
